Itria Valley
Itria Valley is an area of Puglia that, proceeding from south to north, begins in Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica, includes Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Cisternino, to finish between Fasano and Alberobello; Paretone mounth is the highest peak and touches 430 meters.
Very famous for its Trulli, the whole valley is a paradise for those who love the countryside and the charm of ancient streets and villages and it is very close to the sea, that you can see from the beautiful city “the white Ostuni”.
In addition to the Trulli, often grouped into true agglomerations, the Itria Valley keeps many farms, some of which were wisely renovated and turned into residences and Luxury Hotels to accomodate traveler crossing Apulia.
Among the main attractions include the Zoosafari of Fasano, the Grotte di Castellana, the Trulli of Alberobello, the Carnival of Putignano and ceramics at Grottaglie and Martina Franca.
