How to Book

1)REQUEST AND CONFIRMATION OF AVAILABILITY

Salentotime offers the possibility of booking your trip in realtime and paying for the majority of the services online. This means that we can guarantee that you will know immediately the outcome of your booking.

In the case that you do not have a credit card, you can still make your booking, although it will be confirmed only when your deposit has been received.

2)PAYMENT

After you receive your booking confirmation, we ask for a security deposit, which will account for 20% of the total amount.

Payment can be carried out online using the secure link of Banca Sella S.p.A., or by calling our operator, providing your credit card number. You may also pay by filling out a form authorizing direct debit from your account which you may access by clicking here and which you should send by fax at 0832.1900180.

When to pay:

• In the case that the 20% deposit has already been paid, the outstanding bill may be paid before arrival by credit card or bank transfer, otherwise upon your arrival in cash.

• In the case that the deposit has not been paid by credit card (i.e by check or bank transfer) the outstanding bill can be paid up to the date in the booking form, from 60 to 30 before your arrival.

Important:
Your realtime booking will be successfully concluded only on the receipt of the deposit (20% of the total payment). The deposit can be paid online, by telephone, or if you wish to pay by direct debit or by sending a form via fax.
Otherwise, payments by bank transfer will be successfully concluded only when the amount paid is received by Salentotime.

When Salentotime receives confirmation of payment, your booking confirmation will be notified via email along with the details of arrival and departure and further information related to services offered.

General terms and conditions

BOOKING, DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT FOR HOLIDAY SERVICES

The booking can be concluded in real time using a credit card, otherwise the booking will be confirmed only on receipt of payment by cheque or bank transfer.

In all cases of payment, the process of booking will not be concluded until Salentotime receives your payment, in which case you will immediately be sent an email with your booking confirmation to the address you have already indicated.

In the case of payment of the 20% deposit with credit card, the remaining amount of the outstanding bill for your reservation may be paid before arrival with bank transfer, or also upon arrival, but only in cash, unless stated differently in the information booking form held by the residence or service provider.
In the case of payment of the deposit by cheque or bank transfer, it will be necessary to pay the remaining amount of your bill by the date indicated on your information form and no more than the date indicated in your booking confirmation, in general from 60 to 30 days before your arrival date.

At the time of arrival it is possible that you will be requested to pay a security deposit if it required in the information booking form held by the residence or service provider.
In the same way, the security deposit will be entirely refunded to you on your departure, prior to this we will need to verify that the residence/equipment is left in correct order.

CANCELLATIONS
In the case that your reservation is cancelled on your part, the amount paid for the security deposit will not be refunded and you will have to pay a penalty fee in which the amount will depend on the time in which the cancellation was brought to the notice of Salentotime.

The cancellation penalty fee will be accounted for in the following way:

• More than 90 days before the arrival date: 20% of the total payment.
• From 60 to 89 days before the arrival date: 30% of the total payment.
• From 30 to 59 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total payment.
• Less than 30 days before the arrival date: 100% of the total payment.

In the event that the reservation is no longer possible due to events out of the hands of Salentotime or due to unavailability, Salentotime will bring this to the notice of the client immediately and try to resolve the situation by offering a suitable alternative equal or superior to the initial reservation.

If the client is not interested in the alternative offered, the sum paid in advance to Salentotime, will be refunded in full. However, if the client is not satisfied with the service, or a residence after having used it they wil be charged only for the days in which they availed of the service or residence.
Salentotime does not hold any other commitment or responsibility towards clients with the exception of the refunding of payment made.

CHECK-IN
The check-in time is indicated in the information form given by the residence or service information form
In the absence of indication on the information form, the time is presumed from 15.00 on the arrival day.

In the case that the client needs to check in prior to the time indicated, Salentotime will use it’s information available to see if this is possible by taking into account the presence of other clients and their check-out times.

CHECK-OUT
The check-out time is indicated in the information form given by the residence/service information form.
In the absence of indication on the information form, the time is presumed at no later than 11.00.
In the case that the client needs to check-out after the time given, Salentotime will use it’s information to see if your needs are compatible with those of other clients who will be arriving.

CLEANLINESS
The client will find their residence already clean and tidy upon arrival.
We request that the client leave their residence in the order in which they found it.
The clients may avail of the different cleaning options offered in the information form of the residence if they are interested.

NUMBER AND IDENTITY OF GUESTS
The client must provide Salentotime with the number and details of all people who wish to occupy a residence at the time of booking.
Children younger than 2 years old will not be calculated in the number of people authorized to stay in the residence, however their information and details must also be provided.

CATS AND DOGS
Animals are not permitted to stay in residences unless it is otherwise stated in the description form of the residence.
Behaviour which does not respect these rules will result in loss of use of the residence without refund.
If you have a domestic animal, we would advice you to contact us to find the best solution to tend to your needs and those of your pets.

BEHAVIOUR
The client who signs the contract with Salentotime is responsible for the behaviour of all those in his/her company. If the client or the people in his/her company, behave in a manner which is against the rules of the residence, or in an irresponsible manner, Salentotime reserves the right to ask them to leave the residence, in which case the client does not have the right to claim a refund.

RESPONSIBILITY
Salentotime does not hold responsibility for any kind of damage – direct or indirect which may occur during the holiday period of the clients, including and without limitation: damage, malpractice, fire, theft or vandalism.

RULES OF CONDUCT
The client is asked to respect the rules of the residence.
Unless it is otherwise stated in residence information form or authorized by the proprietor/manager themselves, the residence must not be used as a space for parties, but only as a space for eating, sleeping and relaxing.
You are required to read the rules of conduct held within the residence with careful attention, in order to avoid any problems.

You are asked not to smoke in the residence. You may smoke outside on the terrace if there is one, and you are kindly asked to not throw your cigarette buts on the street in front, on the balcony or in the garden.
You are asked not to disturb your neighbours, trying not to make much noise, whether it may be in the corridor of the residence or inside the residence itself.
Parties are not permitted.
The hours in which it is not possible to make noise are as follows:
- from Monday to Friday, from 22.00 to 9.00,
- Saturday and Sunday, from 24.00 to 10.00.

You are kindly asked to switch off the air conditioning and the lights if you leave the apartment, to maintain low cost and save energy.
You are asked not to leave rubbish or waste in the residence when you check-out.

Salentotime reserves the right to modify the information given on it’s site at any moment – that is the cost and prices of the residences, services, descriptions and photographs.

BOOKING, DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT OF OTHER SERVICES
*To guarantee the booking of services, we request an advanced payment, which accounts for 20% of the total payment.
The booking of services can be concluded in realtime using a credit card, otherwise the booking will be confirmed only on receipt of payment by cheque or bank transfer.

In all cases of payment, the process of booking will not be concluded until Salentotime receives your advanced payment, in which case you will immediately be sent an email of booking confirmation to the address you have already indicated.

In the case of payment of the 20% security deposit with credit card, the remaining amount of the outstanding bill for your reservation may be paid before arrival with bank transfer, or also upon arrival, but only in cash. Unless you are advised differently, all information applies according to the information form held by the residence or service provider.

In the case of payment of the deposit by cheque or bank transfer, it will be necessary to pay the remaining amount of your bill by the date indicated on your information form and no less than 30 days before your arrival date, unless it is stated differently in the information given by the service you have chosen.

In the case of bicycle, motorbike, car, or boat hire or any other services which have risk of damage, you may be requested to pay a security deposit for possible damage if it is stated in the information booking form of the service you wish to book.

With regards to the security deposit, you will be refunded completely at the conclusion of the service offered, after the equipment has been checked for damage.

CANCELLATIONS
In the case that your reservation is cancelled on your part, the amount paid for the security deposit will not be refunded and you will have to pay a penalty fee in which the amount will depend on the time in which the cancellation was brought to the notice of Salentotime.

The cancellation time will be accounted for in the following way:

• More than 90 days before the arrival date: 20% of the total payment.
• From 60 to 89 days before the arrival date: 30% of the total payment.
• From 30 to 59 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total payment.

In the event that the reservation is no longer possible due to unavailability and events out of Salentotime’s hands, Salentotime will bring this to the notice of the client immediately and try to resolve the situation by offering a suitable alternative equal or superior to the initial reservation.

If the client is not interested in the alternative offered, the sum paid in advance to Salentotime, will be refunded in full, working within the internal time framework of the organisation.If the client has come and used the service and is not happy with the alternative offered they will be charged up to the time they have used the service.

Salentotime does not hold any other commitment or responsibility towards clients with the exception of the refunding of payment made.

SERVICE TIMETABLE
The hours of rental are indicated in the information form held by the service.
Different starting hours for services hired will depend on the compatibility of the schedule of other clients intending to use the same service.

NUMBERS AND IDENTITY OF CLIENTS
The client must provide Salentotime with the number of people intending to use the service at the time of booking.

CATS AND DOGS
The presence of animals is not permitted unless it is otherwise stated in the guidelines of the service offered.
Behaviour which does not respect these rules will result in loosing the use of the service without refund.
If you have a domestic animal, we would advice you to contact us to find the best solution to tend to your needs and those of your pets.

RULES OF CONDUCT
The client is asked to respect the rules of those offering the service.
You are required to read the the rules of conduct set out by the service providers in order to avoid any problems.

You are asked not to smoke during the use of a service, if the service takes place in a closed environment.
It is prohibited to smoke inside cars, boats, aeroplanes or other hired transport means unless it is otherwise stated by the driver/guide or the providers of the service.
