“Cammino Leucadense” is the ancient route used by pilgrims during Middle Ages to reach Santa Maria di Leuca sanctuary and goes in the Salentine hinterland along the longitudinal axis linking ancient villages, chapels and small places for downtimes where pilgrims could have a rest and prayer. Faith led the early pilgrims and maybe some walkers that nowadays encourage to go through these ancient routes of faith.

Cammino Leucadense has been rediscovered in last years going the ancient route of faith. It is characterized by a 87 kilometres trail going through 18 towns and villages of the Salento area, along the so-called “Salentine Serre” (the local hills) and the old places of cult and welcoming along the same trail of many pilgrims to rediscover a new Salento, rich in worship places of extraordinarily beauty.

Palazzo Romasi it’s an ancient XVI Century Residence located in the historical centre of Alessano, few kilometres away from Santa Maria di Leuca.
The structure has recently been renewed and enriched with some fine details, though respecting the original structure.
The first thing that strikes the guest is the entrance, with a stone path leading to the courtyard, where the swimming pool is located.
The five apartments for the guests are divided on two floors as follows:
First floor:
- Apartment “Barocco” for two people, with living room, open kitchen, double room, bathroom with shower.
- Apartment “Croce di Malta” for 4 people, on two floors. It has two double rooms, two bathrooms with shower, one living room and one kitchen with a fire place.
- “Affresco”, at the first floor. It is composed of an entrance, a dining room for 8 people, an equipped kitchen,a living room with sofas and LCD TV, 3 ensuite-bedrooms. This apartment is a luxury one thanks to the pieces of furniture and the architectural details, such as the fresco on one of the walls.

Ground floor:
- Apartment “Arco” for four people. The name is due to the arch that is inside and that, together with the stone vaults, enriches it. It is composed of a living room with open kitchen, sofa bed, double room, bathroom with shower.
- Apartment “Conchiglia” for four people, with open kitchen, two double rooms and one bathrrom with shower.

Internal arrangment:

The structure combines all the modern comforts to the fine particulars. The owner has personally chosen the antiques and the paintings that give a special atmosphere to this high quality residence.
Guests can use the swimming pool and the solarium.

‘La Casa Le Due Pietre’  is a “pagghiaro”, a typical construction of Salento countryside, (‘Trulli Salentini’), completely built in ancient stone.

Internal arrangement: two bedrooms: a master bedroom and a twin room with bunk-bed, two bathrooms, two kitchens of which one is small.

Living-room area with dining table and four transformable sofas: two single size beds, two master size beds you can separate from the room thanks to a furniture divider or sitting area.

From the living-room you can access at the terrace covered with a canopy offering a beautiful view of the sea.

The outside area is characterized by the sea-view terrace and the stone sitting areas, and by the second little patio, with sea view, equipped with tables and chairs, dividing the access to the single areas in the residence.

The weekly price includes the lights, bed linen and bathroom.

The residence is equipped with a cistern (a tank load of water can be sufficient for a week long holiday).

- Dezso: “We had a great stay and actually the weather was not so bad. There were storms somewhere every day, but somehow we managed to avoid them (almost completely). The only problem was that (I assume) the trulli are not designed for such an amount of water and once the bigger kitchen was flooded (we were not at home that time, only noticed when we got home), and we had constant moist all the time inside. Therefore we wanted to dry the linen outside during the day, and with a bad luck we got thunderstorm and big rain on one of the last days completely soaking some of the bedlinen.  But I guess this is how trulli are, a little price we had to pay for the great location and the good feeling, nice terraces and surroundings.
Overall, it was fine, except the broken toilet tank in one of the trulli. It leaked water constantly, more and more (and you know how precious water is there) and finally got completely broken. Luckily, I was at least able to turn it off. I left it open and you can see the completely “melted” rubber insulation which should be replaced.”

Located on a dazzling cliff with a panoramic view on the Adriatic Sea, villa La Mecca in Santa Maria di Leuca was built according to the local tradition in pietra viva. Spacious terraces, both shady and sunny, and a very big garden, with all the colours of Mediterranean scrub, surround the villa.

The villa is composed by two independent apartments rentable either together or separately. The entire villa can provide accommodation for ten people.

La Mecca of Ponente can provide accommodation for six people. It is composed by three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big living room and kitchen.
The living room faces two spacious terraces, one shady and surrounded by the Mediterranean scrub, the other sunny and with a wonderful view on the Adriatic Sea.

La Mecca of Levante can provide accommodation for four people. It is composed by two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and kitchen.
The living room faces a shady terrace followed by sunshiny terraces. The view is fantastic.

The terraces are equipped with garden furniture and deck chairs.
