This fortified farmhouse is located at 5 minutes walking distance in the countryside of a typical, small town: Minervino di Lecce. The farmhouse covers a surface of 1000 sqmts and it’s surrounded by walls with a large inner courtyard.

This farmhouse was once known as the “St. Peter’s” or the “Two Masters” farmhouse. The present name is due to the 12 underground granaries, hollowed in the stone

The farmhouse “12 granai” was restored in 2008. It is composed of 10 bedrooms, a dining room for 20 people, an inner common area with a large garden where it’s possible to rest or play and a terrace  with a beautiful view on the Salento country.

All the ensuite rooms have air conditioning and a private dehors. Rooms are no-smoking and have Wi-Fi connection.

A buffet breakfast is served inside the large dining room. Guests can find: coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam, eggs, olives, juices, fresh fruit and cookies.

The farmhouses can also be exclusively rent by groups with a minimum stay of two weeks.

Torre Sant’Emiliano is an old farmhouse, made up of four suites and very close to Otranto.
The open-air spaces are very wide and refined. It is the best place for your relax inside a 60 hectare garden enjoying the breathtaking view over one of the most striking area of Salento coast .

An ancient construction once dedicated to stock rearing and dating back to 1700, *Masseria Bandino* <index.htm> (farmhouse) respects the typical architectural style of the rural salento countryside. It lies in the shelter of its very own extensive and unspoilt pine forest (5 hectares) and is set in one of Otranto’s most beautiful and charming valley landscapes. The surronding area is rich in olive trees, citrus plantations and aromatic wild vegetation. In the spring-summer seasons excursions into the pine forest offer the possibility to view rare floral specimens such as wild orchids (Anacamptis pyramidalis) and many others.

In a fortunate position from which one can admire the inlet of Otranto’s port, Bandino is the ideal setting for enjoying a holiday with the emphasis on privacy and nature in the restful calmness of the “Hydruntina” countryside.
