MASSERIA PANAREO:

Easter and 25^th April Package

4 days/3 nights in standard double room including breakfast, welcome drink, 1 day on sailing boat with lunch on board (min. 2 people)  -  € 210 per person

For Easter weekend and 25^th April weekend, it is scheduled a sailing boat outing. Departure will be from the port of Otranto, where two experienced skippers will welcome guests to sail to North or South according to the wind, inside the Coastal Park of Otranto – Santa Maria di Leuca. You will get the bay of “Le Orte”, Santa Cesarea and other places. The coast in this area is high and steep, often inaccessible by land, rich in caves and the sea is unbelievably blue. It is a real experience sailing following the coast. You will “have lunch” on board consisting of a light menu with “friselline” (typical local bread) with tomatoes, bread cooked in the stone oven, different kind of fresh cheese, season vegetables, fruits, dried figs and local wine. Return in Otranto will be at 6 p.m.

Castles are present in the whole Salentine area, from a coast to another one coming through the hinterland, even though many of them are located along the Adriatic coast as most of invasions by Turkish fleet and pirates came from that side of the sea. Almost the all Salentine villages have their own castle in the old town. Some castles keep perfectly after being rebuilt during centuries because of several invasions. Every castle is unique but almost all castles are characterized by big towers and bastions as defence of the area. Some castles, as the castle of Copertino or Corigliano d’Otranto, two marvellous jewels of military architecture, had throughout centuries ornamental conversions of portals which have been enriched by typical statues and decorations of Lecce-Baroque style.

Most of castles represents now the cultural heart of the Salentine peninsula welcoming cultural seasons, shows, exhibitions and important meetings, like Charles V castle in Lecce or the castle in Acaya, giving a new life to these important architectural buildings.

This apartment is located in the Valle della Cupa, the countryside right outside Lecce, a few kms away from the town and close to San Pietro in Lama.

It’s on the groundfloor and it has a kitchen, a dining room, a living room with a sofa bed and a double room.

Villa Raffaella is a luxury residence located in an historical building of Santa Cesarea Terme, a town between Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca. The residence has both holiday apartments and rooms.

This front-sea villa dates back to the end of the XIX century and its terraces offer a wonderful view. It is on two levels with a garden. The pieces of furniture and decorations remind us of the beginning of the XIX century. On the first floor there are the rooms of the residence while the others are on the ground floor and view the garden.

Two meeting rooms for approximately 80 people (equipped for catering) are the extra service of Villa Raffaella.

This fortified farmhouse is located at 5 minutes walking distance in the countryside of a typical, small town: Minervino di Lecce. The farmhouse covers a surface of 1000 sqmts and it’s surrounded by walls with a large inner courtyard.

This farmhouse was once known as the “St. Peter’s” or the “Two Masters” farmhouse. The present name is due to the 12 underground granaries, hollowed in the stone

The farmhouse “12 granai” was restored in 2008. It is composed of 10 bedrooms, a dining room for 20 people, an inner common area with a large garden where it’s possible to rest or play and a terrace  with a beautiful view on the Salento country.

All the ensuite rooms have air conditioning and a private dehors. Rooms are no-smoking and have Wi-Fi connection.

A buffet breakfast is served inside the large dining room. Guests can find: coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam, eggs, olives, juices, fresh fruit and cookies.

The farmhouses can also be exclusively rent by groups with a minimum stay of two weeks.
