The massive antique wooden doors of the Palazzo open up to reveal an enchanting open courtyard of beautiful pastel coloured stone and flanked either side by the delightful “pietra leccese” stonework of the Palazzo guest rooms.
Directly ahead of the courtyard is an oasis of mature gardens full of palm trees, Mediterranean ferns, fruit trees and stunning tropical flowers. Meandering paths weave through the delightful gardens leading to an array of secluded seating areas for relaxing under the shade of the trees.
2. The delightful swimming pool
A private corner of the garden houses the charming swimming pool, bordered by shaded terraces, comfortable seating and laid back sun loungers.
It is the ideal place to cool down after a busy day exploring the nearby villages and beaches. With a large selection of complimentary newspapers, magazines and books, there is no shortage of reading material to enjoy a slow paced afternoon by the pool.
